СÀ¶ÊÓƵ's award-winning Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences offers a pre-requisite program, Pathways to Speech-Language Pathology. This program is designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree in a field other than Communication Sciences and Disorders and must complete specific required coursework before applying to a master's program in SLP. During the course of one semester, you'll complete all of your coursework online.
The courses meet the pre-admission requirements necessary for consideration and potential admission into an accredited university in the United States and can be completed in the Summer of 2025.
Pathways to Speech-Language Pathology offers an optional study abroad in Sorrento, Italy.

More About the Program
Students who complete the Pathways to SLP program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher are guaranteed a priority interview for JU's Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program, should they decide to apply. Pathways to Speech-Language Pathology students can tailor their program to their academic needs, selecting three, four, or five courses. All courses are offered online, allowing for maximum flexibility. Additionally, the optional study abroad trip to Sorrento, Italy, provides students with international experiential learning, enhancing their preparation for their future careers.

- Unofficial transcripts for all degrees conferred
- Minimum cumulative GPA 0f 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Students with a GPA under 3.0 will be considered based on a holistic individual assessment that may require extra documentation.

Pathways to Speech-Language Pathology offers an optional study abroad opportunity in Sorrento, Italy. Early each summer, Pathways students will travel to Italy for a field study at the Sant'Anna Institute, while enjoying the beauty and culture of cities across Italy.
