Sailing Team
With its home waters on the beautiful St. Johns River, the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Sailing Team is a rapidly growing, competitive organization. Operating under the Division of Student Life, the JU Sailing Team is made up of both new and experienced sailors and acts as a competitive racing team and as a recreational club. In fall 2012, it became the first collegiate varsity sailing team in Northeast Florida.
The team sails for the full academic year, traveling throughout the United States to compete with colleges and universities in weekend regattas (follow its progress during the season here). At home, the team practices on the river three times a week and works out together in the on-campus gym, the Tank, twice a week.

Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap Team
The СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap Team was founded by Program Director and Head Coach David T. Dobson, with assistance from Dr. Priscilla Berry and inaugural Club President Justin Felker, in the Fall of 2009. The JUSST has the proud distinction of currently being a 35-time (Divisional/Event) ACUI and SCTP Collegiate HOA National Champion, and in December, 2011, the JUSST officially became a varsity team sport at JU.
We practice Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and have flexible practice scheduling so as to honor JUSST team members' academic priorities. The JUSST is also run by the team members under the guidance of Head Coach David Dobson, and we compete in collegiate, as well as NSSA, NSCA, ATA and ISSF shoots. Our magnificent home club, Jacksonville Clay Target Sports, is only 15 minutes from campus.
