Sport BusinessCurriculum

Sport Business prepares students for leadership positions in the community, school, collegiate, and professional environments. The curriculum presents core business and sport business knowledge supplemented with interdisciplinary topics, culminating with a real-world sports project.

Students earning their BBA in Sport Business are prepared to enter the industry at a variety of levels including community, scholastic, collegiate, and professional positions. Opportunities in the Sport Business profession range from marketing, finance, and management to sponsorship, public relations, or communications. The job market for the sport industry is highly competitive, but our students have the experience needed to secure jobs or pursue their education further with a master’s degree.

  • We are test-optional and do not require an essay if you have above a 3.0 GPA.
  • Entering students may declare business administration as a ​major. Many entering freshmen will declare a major of pre-business until they reach sophomore status.
