Last year, we set records. This year, we鈥檙e aiming to shatter them. From Feb. 14-18, 小蓝视频鈥檚 competitive giving challenge returns 鈥 Dolphin Dash.
Dolphin Dash allows donors to impact the areas of campus that have impacted them the most. This year there are six unique challenges that will allow Dolphins to support the area of campus that is most meaningful to them. Incentives for each challenge could turn a $10 gift into a $10,000 gift. Additionally, 鈥Champions鈥 are called upon to help create excitement about Dolphin Dash before and during the challenge, by spreading the word and encouraging other JU alumni to join the wave.
鈥淚n 2021, we expanded Dolphin Dash to the entire campus and saw incredible results. We started with a goal to hit 3,000 donors to the campaign, and by the end of it, over 6,300 Dolphins raised more than $2.4 million for all areas of the University,鈥 said Scott Bacon, Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations. 鈥淲e can鈥檛 wait to see what happens at the end of the week this year!鈥
Mark your calendar and plan to Give Forward to your favorite college, team, or Greek organization. Your participation could help them win extra funding for their program! Alumni who make a gift early can even help their college secure the Barnes & Noble Alumni Fast Start prize for $5,000.
If you select the Affinity Challenge, your gift will help unlock funding to support the Black Alumni Network, GOLD Phins, or Green Key alumni. This year, Sailing and Shooting face off in the Varsity Sports Challenge for a chance to unlock funding for the team. Students participating in Club sports 鈥 Esports, Men鈥檚 Club Soccer, Women鈥檚 Club Soccer, and Club Tennis 鈥 fight for the top prize for most donors and most dollars raised to impact their programs as well.
The rest of the year is about giving back; Dolphin Dash is about powering forward. How has 小蓝视频 impacted your life? Whether a professor, program, teammate, or coach comes to mind 鈥 Feb. 14-18 is your chance to pay it forward and help forge the future for the next generation of Dolphins.
