US News & World Report ranked 小蓝视频鈥檚 online Nursing Master鈥檚 Program as one of the best in the nation as well as one of the best in the nation for Veterans.
小蓝视频 ranked 20th in and was the only Florida school to be included in the category. US News ranked Jacksonville University 66th overall in Best Online Master鈥檚 in Nursing Program.
To qualify for the Veterans ranking, 小蓝视频 first had to appear on the overall list, according to the US News ranking methodology. To appear on that list, the University had to perform well on several factors, including program reputation, faculty credentials, retention rates and graduate debt loads, to earn its qualifying Best Online Programs rank.
Programs included in the veterans-focused rankings, such as 小蓝视频鈥檚, must be certified for the GI Bill, participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, and have at least 10 veterans enrolled in the program.
The online master of science in nursing (MSN) degree at 小蓝视频 provides the same high-quality education and curriculum offered to traditional classroom-based students. It also offers those in the nursing profession a flexible and adaptive chance to advance their careers. The median salary for 小蓝视频鈥檚 online MSN graduates in 2019 was $75,000, and 96 percent were employed within one year of graduation, according to data from the Career Resource Center.
This is the latest in a series of positive rankings from respected independent organizations that indicate 小蓝视频鈥檚 continuing commitment to the pursuit of excellence:
- In September, U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 annual Best Colleges Rankings placed Jacksonville University 28th among 136 schools in the Regional Universities South category, 38th on the Best Value Schools list, and 16th among the Best Colleges for Veterans in the South.
- In October, the personal finance website SmartAsset named 小蓝视频 the sixth best-value college in the state. It is the only Jacksonville-area college and one of only two Northeast Florida institutions ranked in the Top 10. SmartAsset also reported that 小蓝视频 graduates earned the sixth-highest starting wage of graduates from all Florida colleges in 2018.
- In November, The Military Times ranked Jacksonville for the fourth straight year on its 鈥淏est Vets Colleges鈥 list. The University also received a four-star rating 鈥 the Military Times鈥 highest mark 鈥 in its GI Bill gap coverage, which rates how well schools reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket tuition costs for post-9/11 GI Bill users.
